I have always been attracted to photography, but it became a passion almost ten years ago.
Self-taught, I formed myself through readings, Facebook groups, perseverance, the will to improve and thousands of photos.
Nevertheless, I am convinced that the essential element of this progression, or rather an initiatory journey, is the encounters made during these years. Meeting with photographers, who will recognize themselves, but also, since 2014, with the public during the exhibitions in which I have the constant pleasure of participating.
Initially focused on opportunistic photography, depending on my daily life or opportunities, I am increasingly moving towards coherent series of images in order to tell a story, to transmit an emotion or to witness a moment of life.
In 2018, four photographers, including myself, set up the “Bruxelles Pixels” collective. This summer we are renewing our first “Schieven Regards” exhibition at Perspective Brussels and are working on the meantime on setting up our second exhibition for November 2019.
I am also a member of the International Photo Club of Brussels “Viewfinders” and of “Ars Varia” which aims to promote the arts and ideas.
