Born in Saint-Aignan in France, I spent my youth in Brussels. My atypical career has led me to study, work and live in the United States, in France and in Germany. My passion for glass work developed over twenty years ago in Audrey Otterbein’s glass studio in Germany. My training continued at the Centre belge du Vitrail Pierre Majerus, at glass artist Patrick de Jager’s studio in Antwerp and at the Academie voor Beeldende Kunsten in Anderlecht. My creations are a mixture of modernity and tradition. As inspiration comes, I use the mosaic, the stained glass on lead, the kiln-fired stained glass painting or the stained glass Tiffany techniques. Lately I have been working with the fusing technique. My approach is to revisit the secular arts, to create original objects to integrate them in contemporary interior decors while preserving a know-how. The themes are related to my reflections and influences of the moment. The notions of movement, composition, volume and colour are at the heart of my creative process.
